If you are preparing an area of ground for
seeding, one of the two working patterns
shown is the optimal way to loosen the soil.
If roots or grass become wrapped around the
blades, switch off the mini-tiller and unplug it
before you remove them. Use work gloves to
avoid cutting yourself on the blades.

Cleaning and maintenance

Always clean the mini-tiller immediately after
each use with a stiff brush to remove soil and
debris, in particular from the shields (12) and
blades (13). Then wipe with a well-wrung
cloth with a small amount of detergent
added, if necessary.
The mini-tiller must not be rinsed or
otherwise exposed to water or liquids. Ensure
the mini-tiller's ventilation slots (11) are kept
free of dirt.
Lubricate the blades regularly with a spray
lubricant or a light fi lm of oil to prevent rust.
Store the mini-tiller in a dry, dust-free, frost-
free place.
