PROBLEM
The hose leaks at the
shut-off assembly.
The nozzle drips when the
shut-off lever is released.
The nozzle tip leaks.
The spray pattern is poor.
The unit shuts off
abruptly.
The battery pack does not
charge.
Battery will not charge.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
The hose is cracked, swollen, or
faulty.
The connection is damaged.
There is dirt or debris in the shut-off
lever.
There is a damaged O-ring or seal in
the shut-off assembly.
The flat seal is missing.
The flat seal is damaged.
Variable Control is not turned to
recommended setting.
The nozzle is partially clogged.
The nozzle is damaged.
The battery pack has reached its
maximum thermal limit.
The battery is out of charge. To
maximize the life of the battery, it is
designed to shut off abruptly when
the charge is depleted.
The battery pack is not inserted in
the charger.
The charger is not plugged in.
The surrounding air temperature is
too hot or too cold.
No lights illuminated on charger
(not plugged into outlet).
No lights illuminated on charger
(plugged into outlet).
No lights illuminated on charger
(plugged into outlet, the outlet is
functioning).
Red light illuminated on charger,
no green light (charger cannot
recognize battery).
Red light continues blinking on
charger (battery temperature too
high for safe charging).
Red and green lights blink
alternately on charger (battery
cannot be charged).
SOLUTION
Replace the shut-off assembly.
Replace the shut-off assembly
Clean the shut-off assembly.
Replace the shut-off assembly.
Install the flat seal behind the nozzle tip.

Clean the nozzle. See Cleaning.
Replace the nozzle.
Allow the battery pack to cool down.
Place the battery on the charger and allow
it to charge.
Insert the battery pack into the charger
until the LED illuminates.

Move the battery pack to a surrounding
air temperature of above 40° F (4.5° C) or
below 104° F (40° C).
Plug charger into outlet.
Check that outlet is functioning.
Replace charger.
Replace battery.
Allow battery to cool.
Replace battery.
