ASSEMBLY COMPONENTS REQUIRED
The following tool components are required for assembly of the trailing arm bushing.
Complete frame with components (1-6)
Adapter (7) with depth stop (8)
C-ring (10)
ASSEMBLY OVERVIEW
INSTALLATION
1. Remove rust, soiling and oil from the hole in the trailing arm. Attention: during the assembly of the
trailing arm bushing, there must not be any oil in the hole or on the bushing.
2. Install both depth stops (8) on the adapter (7) using the M8 screws (Fig. 11).
3. Insert the T-piece in the adapter (7), the guide pin (F) must be outside the adapter (Fig. 11).
4. Place the C-ring (10) on the hole in the trailing arm and position the complete tool frame with
components (1-6) over the trailing arm and the C-ring.
5. Place the new bushing on the trailing arm as illustrated. When positioning, observe the alignment
of the bushing to the marking and pre-tension the tool with the spindle.
6. Check the correct seating of all tool components and the bushing.
7. Press the new bushing into the trailing arm by turning the spindle clockwise.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in an environmentally friendly
manner.
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste.
All tools, accessories and packaging must be sorted, sent to a recycling centre and
disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
Ask your local waste disposal authority about recycling measures
