Safety Advice
EN
• Please note that any repairs that become necessary should only be
carried out by the manufacturer.
• Only original spare parts should be used for maintenance or repairs.
• Never install the intrinsically safe power supply unit inside the gas bottle
locker or in areas where an explosion hazard exists.
• For systems used in connection with areas where there is an explosion
hazard, the relevant national regulations and installation provisions are
to be followed. Important: Follow the national regulations when repai-
ring or modifying intrinsically safe devices.

Installation
• The following tools are required for the correct connection of the
GASLIGHT®:
- Drill / cordless screwdriver
- Drill bit ø 12 mm (0.472")
- Accessories kit (included)
• Start installing GASLIGHT® by attaching the intrinsically safe power
supply unit.
• Once you have decided on a suitable position for the intrinsically safe
power supply unit, you can use the four screws supplied to fasten it
and lay/connect the 12 / 24 Volt line.
• Once you have attached the intrinsically safe power supply unit, start
laying the 3 meter (14.5 foot) power supply line with the GASLIGHT®
attached in your gas bottle locker. From there, run the cable through
the interior of your caravan in the direction of the intrinsically safe
power supply unit.
• If there is no conduit into your caravan, you will also have to drill a hole
here so that the 3 meter (14.5 foot) power cable can be installed correct-
ly. Use a sealing compound (e.g. Terostat adhesive) to carefully seal the
hole.
• Now you simply need to lay the 3 meter (9.5 foot) power supply cable
to the intrinsically safe power supply unit and connect it up.
• Now look for a suitable place for the light and attach it using the screw
supplied.
