Accessories and Options
In this section is a description of the options and accessories that are available for the products covered in the
operating manual. Note that options and accessories are fitted at the user's own risk and that safety and
warning instructions should be observed.
Mounting accessories
There are no specific mounting hardware accessories for subwoofers. Please refer to the mounting hardware
accessories associated with the main loudspeakers used in the system.
Input options
DIM 4
Digital Input Module (4 x AES3)
This option is a 16...24-bit, 20...216 kHz digital input stage that can accept up to four AES3-2003
(commonly known as AES/EBU), AES3id-2001, and S/P-DIF (with a suitable impedance adapters or
connector converters) signals. XLR and BNC connectors ensure good interconnectivity options. The use
of this option is explained in the "Optional Digital Input Card" section above.
Remote Controls
SRC 1
Subwoofer Remote Control
A simple remote control (pictured below) used to centrally bypass the bass management and control
the volume of the entire monitoring system. The +10 dB LFE gain can also be switched on and off
remotely. A cable must be purchased separately – see Remote Cables (RC nn) below.

SRC 2
Software Remote Control
A fully featured remote control used to centrally control many of the subwoofer functions, such bypass
the subwoofer, control the volume of the entire monitoring system, solo and mute individual
loudspeakers, select the LFE mode, and apply LFE gain.
RC nn
Remote Cable (RC nn)
Used to connect an SRC 1 or SRC 2 remote control to a 7.1 High Definition Bass Manager™. Cables of
length 2, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 m (6', 15', 30', 45', 60', 75', and 90') are available from
Klein + Hummel (RC 2, RC 5, RC 10, RC 15, RC 20, RC 25, or RC 30), or industry standard cables may be
sourced from a third party. The Klein + Hummel cables use flame retardant materials and have high-
quality metal EtherCon connectors (Neutrik NE8MC).
SEA 1
Subwoofer EtherCon Adapter
An adapter to enable control of multiple subwoofer systems using the CAT-5 connection on a
7.1 High Definition Bass Manager™. Included are inputs for hardware and RS-232 remote controls, and
outputs for a subwoofer and further daisy-chained subwoofers.
