1. Intended use

The macro focusing stage is designed exclusively for precise focusing in macro, stereo and pan-
orama photography and is to be used on camera tripods and tripod heads as well as on copy
stands.

2. Safety information

The locking screw (3) is used to fix the slider (4). It must not be used to set the friction (braking
effect). Do not attempt to turn the setting screw (6) or the fine adjustment handle (12) when the
slider is fixed with the locking screw (3). This could damage the gear rack (9).
Do not attempt to move the slider (4) beyond the end stop. This could also damage the rack (9).

- Quick release plate

- 4 mm Allen key
4. Mounting the macro focusing stage
Mount the macro focusing stage onto the 1/4" or 3/8" connection thread of a tripod or copy stand
or into an Arca-Swiss compatible dovetail clamp, e.g. a ball head with a corresponding quick-re-
lease system.
Attach the quick release plate (10) with the 1/4" connection thread (11) to the device to be moun-
ted (e.g. camera or tripod clamp).
Place the quick release plate (10) in the dovetail clamp (2) of the slider (4) and secure it with the
clamping screw (5).
