Cleaning mode
Cleaning mode is activated when the hand is held for 5 s at
a distance of 3 - 7cm in front of the sensor system (indicator
lamp flashes). Water flow is interrupted for 3 minutes.
When a user enters the detection zone again or after the time
has elapsed, the water flow is initiated again for 5 s.
Automatic safety shut-off
After 60 s (factory setting) of continuous detection of an object,
the infrared electronics automatically stop the water flow.
Automatic flush
Automatic flushing is deactivated in the factory setting.
Adjustment
For temperature adjustment, see Figs. [4] and [5].
• Before the mixer is put into service, if the mixed water
temperature measured at the point of discharge varies from
the specified temperature set on the thermostat.
• After any maintenance operation on the thermostatic
cartridge.
1. Start water flow and measure the temperature of the water
using a thermometer, see Fig. [4].
2. Turn temperature selection handle until the water
temperature reaches 30 °C.
3. Remove screw (G1) and detach cap (G), see Fig. [5].
4. Remove screw (H) and detach scale handle (I).
Regulating nut (K) must not be adjusted.
5. Fit scale handle (I) so that the 30 °C marking on the handle
aligns with marking (J) on the fitting housing and fasten with
screw (H).
6. Attach cap (G) and fasten with screw (G1).
Adjusting hot water end stop, see Fig. [6].
With this thermostat fitting, the hot water end stop can be set
to between 35 °C and 45 °C.
1. Set the temperature to 20 °C.
2. Remove screw (G1) and detach cap (G).
3. Remove screw (H) and detach scale handle (I).
Regulating nut (K) must not be adjusted.
4. Detach red end stop (L) and reattach with the arrow (L1)
pointing to the desired maximum temperature.
5. Fit scale handle (I) so that the 20 °C marking on the handle
aligns with marking (J) on the fitting housing and fasten with
screw (H).
6. Attach cap (G) and fasten with screw (G1).

Maintenance
Shut off the hot and cold water supply.
Inspect and clean all components and replace if necessary.
I. Electronic cartridge
Batteries which are almost discharged are indicated by
a flashing indicator lamp.
1. Activate cleaning mode.
2. Remove screw (M), see Fig. [7].
3. Lever out electronic cartridge (N) with battery (O) and pull
out.
4. Take out battery (O), check and clean contacts and replace
if necessary.
Assemble in reverse order.
II. Non-return valve
1. Unscrew fitting, see Fig. [1].
2. Remove filters (C), see Fig. [8].
3. Remove union nipple (P) by turning clockwise (left-hand
thread).
4. Remove non-return valve (R).
Assemble in reverse order.
III. Thermostatic cartridge
1. Remove screw (G1) and detach cap (G), see Fig. [9].
2. Remove screw (H) and detach scale handle (I).
3. Remove clip (S1).
4. Pull off stop ring (S).
5. Remove regulating nut (K) with overload unit (K1).
6. Remove thermostatic cartridge (T).
Assemble in reverse order.
It must be ensured that overload unit (K1) is screwed as far as
possible into regulating nut (K) (left-hand thread).
Observe the correct installation position of stop ring (S).
Readjustment is necessary after each maintenance operation
on the thermostatic cartridge (see "Adjusting").
IV. Solenoid valve
1. Remove screw (U) and lever out cap (V), see Fig. [10].
2. Remove screws (W).
3. Detach plug-in connector and pull out solenoid valve (X)
using a suitable tool.
Caution! Solenoid valve must not be tilted.
4. Remove filter (Z).
Assemble in reverse order.
Observe correct installation position, see Fig. [11].
V. Flow straightener
Unscrew and clean flow straightener (13 960), see fold-out
page I.
Assemble in reverse order.
