CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

TIPS TO MAINTAIN THE AIR FRYING BASKET
• If you prefer, grease the basket/pan with a thin layer of oil before using your air fryer. This will
extend the lifetime of the non-stick surfaces and help remove food residues.
• Always use silicone accessories in the basket. The silicone does not scratch the non-stick
thus helping to extend the lifetime of the air frying basket.
• Avoid seasoning foods directly in the air frying basket. The contact between the metal parts
and the seasonings can accelerate the wear process, reducing the lifetime of the basket/pan.
• If the grease cannot be removed easily, heat the unit for 3 minutes at 180ºC and then clean
it with warm water.
• Clean your air fryer often. Do not immerse it in water or use chemicals or bleach.
• Dry it well after cleaning. To dry it, we recommend that you remove any excess water with a
dry cloth, place the basket and the pan onto the air fryer and let it run empty for 5 minutes at
180ºC. This will ensure the basket and pan will dry properly, avoiding any possible oxidation
of the components.
CLEANING YOUR PRODUCT
• Unplug unit before cleaning and allow it to cool completely.
• Remove the non-stick pan.
• Remove the air frying basket from inside of the pan by lifting the cover and pressing the
release button.
• To clean the air frying basket: wash it with warm water and dish soap. Dry well with a soft
cloth or paper towel. Do not use abrasive sponges, steel wool pads or brushes to avoid
damaging the material. The basket can also be washed in the dishwasher.
• For easier cleaning: we recommend that cleaning be done immediately after use.
• To clean the pan: use a damp cloth or a soft sponge with a dish detergent to degrease it. Dry
the pan immediately after washing it with a dry cloth or paper towel.
• To clean the exterior surface: The exterior of the fryer should be cleaned with a soft, damp
cloth. Never use abrasive materials or alcohol to clean it. Make sure to avoid moisture from
getting into the cavity of the appliance.
• To clean the cavity: use only a soft, dry cloth to remove any excess water. After that, run
the fryer with the frying basket for 5 minutes at 180ºC to ensure that the basket has dried
completely.
