WARNING!
Faulty appliances or power cords can create a potential electrical shock.
It is highly recommended to have a 30 mA circuit protector connected to the
generator at all times.
Never use the appliance have the power exceed the maximum rating of the generator.
DC APPLICATIONS
The DC Output should only be used for recharging 12-volt automotive lead acid type
batteries. And do not charge batteries while they are connected to a vehicle. Make
sure they have been totally disconnected before recharging.
When charging a battery the following instructions need to be followed:
1. disconnect the orginal leads from the battery.
2. fully loosen the battery caps
3. start the generator and allow the motor to run for a couple of minutes to warm up
before connecting any apparatus to the generator.
Note: Do not short circuit two clips of the DC Cable. Take extra care to connect the wire
to battery.
4. connect the supplied DC Plug lead into the DC Socket and connect the red lead of
battery charging cable to the positive (+) battery terminal and the black lead to the
negative (-) battery terminal.
5. press the DC Circuit protector to reset if the DC supply had previously been
overloaded.
Note : this usage is applicable for charing only 12 V lead acid automotive batteries.
Only use the DC Socket to charge lead acid type batteries , DO NOT Charge nicad or
any other type of batteries.
WARNING!
Never leave the DC Plug in the generator when not charging batteries. Always remove
the DC Plug from the socket, in most cases it is acceptable to use both the 12V DC for
battery charging and the AC 230V outlet at the same time. However , when the
generator is working close to the maximum load, the generator may go into over load
where the AC Load will need to be reduced or disconnected.
Stopping the engine
1. before stopping the generator, switch off the connected appliance
and pull out inserted plug.
2. turn the engine switch(4) to the " off" position.
3. Switch the fuel valve(7) to "OFF" position.
MAINTENANCE
Good maintenance is essential for safe, economical and trouble-free operation. It will also
help reduce air pollution.
The purpose of the maintenance and adjustment schedule is to keep the generator in
the best operating condition.
