2.4. Safe use of the unit
a)
Do not overload the unit. Use tools that are suitable for the application. A
correctly selected unit will do a better and safer job for which it was designed.
b)
Disconnect the unit from the power supply before adjusting, cleaning, or
servicing. This precaution reduces the risk of accidental start-up.
c)
Keep unused equipment out of the reach of children and out of the reach of
anyone unfamiliar with the unit or this instruction manual. These units is
dangerous in the hands of inexperienced users.
d)
Keep the unit in good working condition. Check before each use for general
damage or damage to moving parts (cracks in parts and components or any
other condition that may affect the safe operation of the unit). If damaged,
have the unit repaired before use.
e)
Keep the unit out of the reach of children.
f)
Repairs and maintenance should be carried out by qualified personnel using
only original spare parts. This will ensure the safety of use.
g)
To ensure the designed operational integrity of the unit, do not remove
factory-installed covers or loosen screws.
h)
Clean the unit regularly to prevent permanent dirt build-up.
i)
Before each use, make sure that the tip is properly installed in the unit and that
the tube is properly secured and undamaged.
j)
The unit is not a toy. Cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by
children without adult supervision.

Do not start up an empty unit.
l)
Do not tamper with the unit to alter its performance or design.
m) Keep the unit away from sources of fire and heat.

Do not overload the unit.

CAUTION! This product is not intended for damage control or to deal with
flooding resulting from hull damage.

CAUTION! This pump is intended for use with fresh and salt water only. Use of
the product with other liquids, corrosive or corrosive materials, may cause
damage to the pump and nearby objects, as well as personal injury.

Do not use the pump to remove oil, gasoline or other flammable liquids.

Keep all hose connections above the highest water level. To ensure additional
protection, coat wire connections and adjacent wire ends with liquid electrical
insulation.

Cables must be additionally spliced with crimp connectors and marine grade
sealant.

Reverse wiring will cause the direction of the impeller to change, which rapidly
reduces efficiency and may cause premature failure of the pump.
u)
Always protect the installation with a properly sized fuse. In the event of a
short circuit, a poorly sized fuse can increase the risk of pump failure and
potentially cause personal injury and/or fire hazards.
