Installation and Set-up of the Machine
6.1

General Information

High voltage !
Possibility of electrical shock!
Water and Steam jet must be kept away.
Use only accepted plugs.
Check that the details on the type label on the machine correspond
with the electrical connection at the operating site for the machine.
The machine may not be connected in the event of any deviations.
Only have work carried out on the electric power supply by a
qualified electrician.
Warning !
Place the machine out of reach from children.
The machine should not block emergency exits
Overheating and fire danger!
Keep ventilation holes free.
Do not place the machine near inflammable or combustive
elements.
Notice !
Do not place the machine over or near a heating surface.
Vacuum pump can be damaged if machine is operated with a
surrounding temperature < 10° C. Use oil with a lower viscosity.
The surrounding has to be dry and well ventilated. Please use the standards for
environment conditions cited in chapter 5: "Technical Data".
The machine has to be placed in a horizontal, safe and even balancing position.
Remove all safety materials used for transportation (for example: protective foam).
Check vacuum pump oil level. If necessary fill in oil. Proceed as described in
chapter 8.1 "Maintenance".
Plug in the main electrical supply plug to the power connection.

6.2

Operational and Display Elements

Control board with vacuum gauge
Main switch is used to turn on and off the machine
Switch machine on: press the ON key.
Cover open:  VAC and TEMP digits are illuminated.
Cover closed: The digits are flashing.
Turn machine off: press the OFF key,  the VAC and TEMP digits will turn off.
Important !
When turning off the machine, wait approx. 5 seconds before
turning it on again. This allows the control system to reset and
function correctly.
