Cleaning of the bodywork and the control panel
Clean the washing machine's bodywork with soapy water or mild, non-corrosive
washing gel, if available, and dry with a soft cloth.
Use only a soft, damp cloth to clean the control panel.
Cleaning the water inlet filters
A filter is located at the end of each water inlet valve, located at the back of the ma-
chine, and at the end of each water inlet pipe, where they are connected to the tap.
These filters prevent the foreign bodies and dirt contained in the water from entering
the washing machine. The filters must be cleaned when they become dirty.
1.
Turn off the taps.
2.
Remove the nuts from the water inlet pipes to access the filters on the water inlet
valves. Clean them with a suitable brush. If the filters are very dirty, remove them
from their spaces with the pliers and clean them.
3.
Remove the filters from the flat ends of the water inlet pipes along with the seals and
clean them thoroughly with tap water.
4.
Carefully replace the seals and filters and tighten the nuts by hand.
Draining the remaining water and cleaning the pump filter
The filtration system in the machine prevents solids such as buttons and fabric fibres
from clogging the pump impeller while discharging waste water. This will ensure that
the water is discharged without any problems and will extend the service life of the
pump. If the machine does not discharge water, the pump filter is clogged. The filter
should be cleaned whenever clogged or every 3 months. The water must be drained
first to clean the pump filter. In addition, before transporting the machine (e.g. moving
it from one house to another) and, in the event of water freezing, it may be necessary
to drain the water completely.
