monitoring, an access point can be found on the
rear of the appliance.

Alarm function

Power off alarm
1. In case of a sudden power off, the appliance
will beep and
will flash on the display.
2. The appliance will enter the state of 'emergency
power supply'.
Emergency power supply
While in the state of 'emergency power supply',
only the temperature will continue to be monitored
powered by the back up batteries. To achieve this
function, batteries need to be installed first.
1. Open the battery box and insert 4x1.5V AA
batteries (not supplied), following polarity
markings.
2. Close the battery box in place.
Note: Remove the batteries if the appliance is not
to be used for an extended period of time.
Note: To see the real-time temperature while in
this state, just press the SET button.

Door open alarm
When the door keeps open or not closed properly
for more than 3 minutes, the appliance will beep
and "dA" will flash on the display.
Action: Close the door properly
High/low temperature alarm
When the internal temperature keeps above
8°C (high limit) for more than 15 minutes, the
appliance will beep and "HA" will flash on the
display.
When the internal temperature keeps below
2°C (low limit) for more than 15 minutes, the
appliance will beep and "LA" will flash on the
display.
Action: Wait to let the temperature fall within the
limit, or take measures as instructed in section
"Troubleshooting".
Cleaning, Care &
Maintenance
Switch off and disconnect from the power
supply before cleaning.
Clean the interior of the appliance as often as
possible.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents. These
can leave harmful residues.
Clean the door seal with warm soapy water.
Always wipe dry after cleaning.
Do not allow water used in cleaning to run
through the drain hole into the evaporation
pan.
Take care when cleaning the rear of the
appliance. Sharp edges can cut.
Condensation will form in refrigeration with
frequent opening of the doors and on hot
humid days, please ensure condensation is
allowed to drain properly or is wiped dry.
Cleaning the Condenser
Periodically cleaning the condenser can extend the
life of the appliance.
POLAR recommend that a POLAR agent or qualified
technician should clean the condenser.
