1 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The precautions listed here are divided into the following types.They are quite important, so be sure to
follow them carefully. Meanings of DANGER, WARNING, CAUTION and NOTE symbols.
 Read these instructions carefully before installation. Keep this manual in a handy for future reference.
Improper installation of equipment or accessories may result in electric shock, short-circuit,

leakage, fire or other damage to the equipment. Be sure to only use accessories made by the supplier,
which are specifically designed for the equipment and make sure to get installation done by a
professional.
 All the activities described in this manual must be carried out by a licensed technician. Be sure to
wear adequate personal protection equipment such as gloves and safety glasses while
installing the unit or carrying out maintenance activities.
 Contact your dealer for any furthur assistance.
Servicing shall only be performed as recommended by the equipment manufacturer. Maintenance
and repair requiring the assistance of other skilled personnel shall be carried out under the
supervision of the person competent in the use of flammable refrigerants.
Indicates an imminently hazardous situation which if not avoided, will result in death or serious injury.
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which if not avoided, could result in death or serious injury.
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which if not avoided, may result in minor or
moderate injury. It is also used to alert against unsafe practices.
Indicates situations that could only result in accidental equipment or property damage.

risk of fire.

This symbol shows that information is available such as the operating
manual or installation manual.
