4.3.3 MINIMUM SAFETY DISTANCES
During the installation of the stove, the fire regulations and the instructions of the
chimney must be followed. For any related questions, please consult the supplier of the
fireplace. The minimum distances to be observed on flammable or heat-sensitive
materials (eg furniture, wallpaper, wood paneling) (see diagram above) are as indicated
in the drawing above.
This distance can be reduced to 40 cm when a protection panel is placed between the
stove and the flammable materials.
The minimum distances for flammable materials and furniture are indicated on the
product label and must not be exceeded. If the floor where the stove is to be installed
is flammable or sensitive to heat, you must place the product on a protective floor plate
(eg marble or glass base).
