CAUTION
• Switch off secondary control systems or switch them
to manual operation before dismantling the sensor.
A defective sensor results in an incorrect measured value,
which may cause dangerous overdosing within a control
system.
• Depressurise the system before dismantling the sensor.
Close the stop valves before and after the in-line probe
housing. Liquid will leak out when the sensor is dismantled
under pressure.
• In case of an emergency, first disconnect the controller
from the power supply. If liquid leaks out from the in-line
probe housing (DGM/DLGIII), close the stop valves at the
inlet and outlet of the sample water.
• Before opening the DGM/DLGIII observe on-site safety
guidelines.
• Additionally follow all of the safety instructions in
Chapter 6 "Assembly".
Disconnect the sensor electrically (compare Chapter 7 "Installation").
Depressurise the in-line probe housing.
Screw off the plug of the in-line probe housing.
Slowly pull out the sensor from the in-line probe housing.
Screw off the membrane cap over a sink, empty it and throw it away.
Rinse the electrodes thoroughly in clean, warm water and allow to dry.
Screw on a new membrane cap loosely to protect the electrodes.
Put on the membrane's protective cap.
IMPORTANT
Please observe the applicable national regulations.
