2. Position the power cord loop through the backside
of the cord retainer and through the cord retainer
slot (Fig. 5C).
3. Slip the power cord loop over the cord retainer hook
(Fig. 5C).
4. Gently tug on the power cord to secure the power
cord into the cord retainer (Fig. 5C).

HARNESS HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT (Fig. 6)
1. The upper harness should sit between shoulder
blades for most comfortable fit. The Backpack
Vac (A) was shipped with the upper harness in
the upper position. If you are a shorter user, you
will need to move the harness down to the lower
position.
2. To re-adjust the upper harness: Loosen the tension
straps. Pull the harness back padding away from
the upper harness plastic support to expose the two
Backpack harness screws and washers.
3. Using a #3 Philips screwdriver (not supplied),
unthread
both
Backpack
washers, and spacers from the Backpack Vac.
The screws and washers are located in the center of
upper harness plastic support.
4. Realign the two screw holes at the new position.
Replace the previously removed two screws,
washers and spacers into the Backpack harness
plastic support and tightly secure it to the Backpack
Vac. The original spacers must be used for correct
support of the upper harness.
