FIRST USE
•
Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers,
protective foil or plastic from the device.
•
Do not put any food or pans in the oven or on the cook plates
•
Put the appliance in a safe spot, make sure there is 30 cm free air above
the oven, and 10 cm on the other sides.
•
Set the control knob of the cook plates (10) in the lowest position.
•
Set the control knob of the temperature (12) on 250 °C.
•
Set the control knob of the oven modes in the lowest position.
•
Set the control knob of the time (14) on 20 minutes.
During first use there could be some smoke and a burning smell. This
happens because the appliance is new. It will disappear after a few minutes.
This does not mean there is a malfunction and it will not cause one.
USE
Control knob of the cook plates (7)
•
Position upwards: large cook plate.
•
Position to the right: small cook plate.
•
Position downwards: both cook plates.
•
With this knob you select which cook plate you want to use.
•
Set the timer off the cook plates and the oven on the desired time.
•
If you only want to use the cook plates you can keep control knob for
the oven modes in the off position.
Control knob temperature (9)
•
Select clockwise the temperature u want to use for prepare your dish.
•
You can choose from 100 °C till a temperature of 250 °C.
Control knob oven modes (10)
•
Position upwards: upper element.
•
Position to the right: bottom element.
•
Position downwards: upper and bottom element.
•
Select the desired heating element, which depends on the dish you are
preparing.
•
See the baking tips further in the manual for the correct settings in
terms of preparation time, temperature and oven settings.
Timer oven en cook plates (11)
•
The time controller can be used in combination whit the cook plates
and the oven function.
•
Select the desired cooking time, the cooking time is depending on the
dish you want to prepare.
•
Select the time by turning the timer clockwise.
•
The device will automatically turn off at the end of the selected time,
there will ring a bell.
•
If you want to select a time of less than 5 minutes, then turn the knob
to over the 6 minutes and turn it back to the desired time.
•
You can manually turn off the device during use, by turn the timer
knob to the off position.
Oven function an cook plates together
•
Select with control knob for the cook plates (7) if you want to use one
or two cook plates.
•
Select with the control knob for the oven function (10) the desired mode.
•
Select with the control knob for the temperature (9) the desired
temperature.
•
Select with the timer knob (11) the desired time, you will see that the
lights No. 8 and No. 12 will light on. You can now start cooking on the
cook plates and put your dish in the oven.
Accessories
•
The backing tray can be used for preparing chicken, hamburgers,
gratin, cakes and many other oven dishes.
•
The grid can be used for various dry dishes such as (French) bread.
