Be careful if the engine has been running as the exhaust will be very hot. Be careful not to touch it to
avoid burns.
1) Remove the cap from the spark plug.
2) Perform a visual inspection of the spark plug. Replace it if the insulator is cracked or broken.
3) Measure the distance between the electrodes with a feeler gauge. The distance between the electrodes
should be between 0.7-0.8mm. Correct the distance by bending the electrode.
4) Put the washer on the spark plug and screw the spark plug in by hand to avoid over-threading.
5) Tighten the new spark plug ½ turn with a wrench to compress the washer. If you are using the spark
plug you already had, you will only need to make ½ to ¼ turn for the spark plug to seat.
CAUTION: Check that the spark plug is tightened properly. An incorrectly fitted spark plug can become
very hot and damage the engine. Never use a spark plug with an inappropriate temperature range.
Incorrect maintenance can cause an accident. To keep the machine in good condition, carry out adequate
periodic maintenance.

4. TROUBLESHOOTING

Running device
If the clutch rod is depressed, the body cannot start.
1) Whether the gearbox gear is correct or not; shift the shift rod back and forth.
2) Whether the V-belt is loose or not, adjust the tension of the V-belt.
3) If the brake is in holding state, adjust the length of the brake screw.
Defective braking device
1) Bad brake adjustment, adjust the brake to the best position.
2) Water ingress in the brake device. Please brake several times to dry the brake housing.
3) Overload, please lighten the load.

Lateral electrode
Sealing washer
