e) Do not operate the charger on an easily ignited
surface (e.g. paper, textiles, etc.) or in a flamma-
ble environment. There is a risk of fire due to the
charger heating up during operation.
f) Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from
the appliance before being charged.
7) SERVICE
a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualified
repair person using only identical replacement
parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power
tool is maintained.
b) Never service damaged battery packs. Service
of battery packs should only be performed by the
manufacturer or authorised service providers.
HOT AIR TOOL SAFETY
WARNING: This tool must be placed on its
stand when not in use.
A fire may result if the appliance is not used with
care, therefore
– be careful when using the appliance in places
where there are combustible materials;
– do not apply to the same place for a long time;
– do not use in presence of an explosive atmos-
phere;
– be aware that heat may be conducted to combus-
tible materials that are out of sight;
– place the appliance on its stand after use and
allow it to cool down before storage;
– do not leave the appliance unattended when it is
switched on.

LCD screen shows battery power indicator. The Battery cells is
divided in 5 slots.
5 slots means the level of charge is at its maximum.
This is an indication of approximate levels of charge remaining in
the battery pack.
Each slot will disappear time by time once the level of charge is
decreasing.
Once the battery is fully discharged, display will show a blinking
empty battery symbol.
BATTERY ERROR INDICATIONS
If an error in the battery is detected, the battery
indicator on the display (Figure 3.F) will instead of
residual capacity show the following indications, and
the tool will not operate.

Battery Charging
Note: The battery supplied is partially charged. To
ensure full capacity of the battery, completely charge
the battery in the battery charger before using your
power tool for the first time.
The lithium-ion battery can be charged at any time
without reducing its service life. Interrupting the
charging procedure does not damage the battery.
The lithium-ion battery is protected against deep dis-
charging by the "Electronic Cell Protection (ECP)".
