Emptying the dust bag

The dust bag is full when the red dust bag indicator lights up or the suction power decreases.
Press the dust bag release latch and lift up the front cover.
Place the dust bag holder in an upright position.
Slide the cardboard part on the top of the dust bag out of the holder, following the direction
of the arrow. Empty the dust bag's contents into a bin and either reuse the bag or insert
a new dust bag. Close the front cover.
NOTE: The front cover will not close if a dust bag hasn't been fitted.
Cleaning the dust bag compartment and HEPA filters
Clean the filters once a month or whenever there is a visible build-up of dirt. Replace the
filters, should they be in any way damaged.
Cleaning the motor filter
Remove the dust bag.
• Remove the filter from the back of the dust bag compartment.
• Wipe the dust bag compartment with a dry cloth.
• Run the filter under running water to clean it. Let the filter dry naturally.
• Reposition the filter and dust bag in the dust bag compartment and close the front cover.
Cleaning the air outlet filter
Push the latch on the air outlet cover - found on the back of the main unit - inwards,
then remove the cover.
Push the latch on the top of the HEPA filter downwards and pull out the filter to
remove it.
Tap all the filter parts over a bin to remove the worst of the dust, then wash them thoroughly
under running water.
Let all the parts dry naturally, then reposition them on the back of the main unit. Make
sure that the bottom of the filter is repositioned first, then push the top of the filter until
it clicks into place. Slide the left side of the filter cover in first to insert it, then push on
the right side until it clicks into place.
