Caution: Danger! Never work on the
machine when live!

0...±550 V (440 - 660)
0...±370 V (296 - 444)
0...±250 V (200 - 300)
0...±170 V (136 - 204)
0...±120 V ( 96 - 144)

0...± 54 V ( 43 - 65)
0...± 36 V ( 28 - 43)
0...± 24 V ( 19 - 29)
If the voltage signal exceeds the voltage
range given at the input signal terminal
block by more than 15 % (at 0...±660 V
by more than 5 %), the input circuit can
be damaged!

6. ZERO-/SPAN Adjustment
Observe a module warm-up time of
4 minutes before the adjustment procedure!
The module is preset in the factory to
0-24 V input and 0...10 V output.
Two potentiometers on the front of
the module (Fig. 4) are available for
adjustment::
ZERO: adjustment of the zero point
SPAN: adjustment of the end value..
a) Zero point calibration
• Connect a calibration source to the input terminal
blocks (U
and GND1) and set a voltage of 0 mV.
(1-7)
• Set the output signal value with the "ZERO" potentiometer:
Voltage output (0...±10 V):
Current output (0...±20 mA):
b) End value calibration
• Use the calibration source to set the maximum voltage
used in the input voltage range (Table 1).
• Set the output signal value (U
= ±20 mA) with the SPAN potentiometer.

Selection of the Input Voltage Range
• Opening the device (Fig. 2)
The lock on the housing top is
released on both sides using a
screwdriver 1. The housing top
and the electronics can now be
pulled out approximately 3 cm 2.
• Jumper adjustment (Fig. 3)
Plug the jumper J onto the
desired position for the input
voltage.
Next, close the housing again until
you hear it engage.
A ZERO/SPAN adjustment
must be performed each
time the input or output
range is changed.
