scales. Keep these operating instructions in a
safe place. If you pass the kitchen scales on to
a third party, make sure to include the operat-

The kitchen scales (hereinafter re-
ferred to as the "device") are de-
signed exclusively for weighing food
and small objects of 10 kg or less in
the home.
Any other use is considered improper
and may result in property damage.
The device is intended for domestic
use. It is not intended for commercial
use.
Certain persons are at greater risk:
This device is not intended for use
by persons (including children) with
reduced bodily or mental capabilities,
or a lack of experience and knowl-
edge, unless they are supervised by a
person responsible for their safety or
instructed in the use of the device.
Children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the
device.
Cleaning and maintenance must not
be carried out by children without
supervision.
Keep children away from the packag-
ing material. Risk of suffocation!

A faulty device can cause damage
and injuries:
Always check the device for dam-
age prior to use. If you detect any
transport damage, contact the dealer
from whom you purchased the device
immediately. Never use an device
that is defective.
If the device is defective, it must be
repaired. The device does not contain
any parts that you are able to repair
yourself.
Damage may occur if the device is
handled incorrectly.
Place the device on a dry, even sur-
face that is not slippery.
Do not place the device on a hot sur-
face or in the vicinity of strong sources
of heat.
Always switch the device off before
cleaning it.
Never immerse the device in water or
other liquids.
Never leave the charger cable hang-
ing down off an edge while charging
