ROTARY HOE
Technical characteristics
Speed: 270 rev/min., with engine at 3000
rev/min.
Width: 45-65-80 cm.
Connection to motor cultivator: The connec-
tion of the Rotary Hoe to the Motorcultivator
is done by means of the T ties and its nuts.
Working depth adjustment: In order to vary
the working depth, adjust the central hoe's
(4) inclination by removing fixing screw (5)
and shifting the perforated rod (6) until it
meets a new hole.
Hood Height adjustment: After having adju-
sted the working depth, it is necessary to
regulate the hood's height from the ground.
- Loosen nut (2) and remove screw (3).
- Raise or lower the hood until the wanted
position is gained.
- Block the hood again with screw (3) and
nut (2).
AIRBORNE NOISE
Acoustic pressure recorded at 1.6 m. off the
ground in the centre of the handlebars by a
B&K 2230 instrument facing the engine.
Maximum level of acoustic pressure statisti-
cally weighted equivalent:
- cultivator: 87 dB (A)
- mower: 87 dB(A)
Sound Power:
- cultivator: 102,6 dB (A)
- mower: 102,6 dB (A)
MAINTENANCE
Each time the Rotary Hoe is used check
that:
1) The nuts which fix the Rotary Hoe to the
motor cultivator are well tightened.
2) The blades nuts and fixing screws are
well tightened.
3) The oil of the bevel pair gear box is at
correct level, i.e. almost full.
ATTENTION - When changing the
blades ensure that they are fitted in
the same way.
HANDLEBAR VlBRATION
Statistically weighted measurement in ac-
cordance with ISO 5349:
- cultivator: 4,5 m/sˆ2
- mower: 10,8 m/sˆ2
Data refers to maximum values recorded
with the range of engines available.
