Cleaning the fuel filter
Clogged uel lter may cause di culty o start-up or ailure o engine speed
increase.
Check the uel lter regularly as ollows
1. emo e the uel tank cap 1 , drain the uel to empty the tank. Check the tank
inside or any oreign materials.
2. ull out the uel lter 2 with wire through the uel lling port.
3. the uel lter sur ace is contaminated, clean it with gasoline. oul gasoline must
be disposed o according to the method speci ed by each local authority.
E cessi ely oul lter must be replaced.
4. eset the uel lter in the uel tank and tighten rmly the uel tank cap.
NOTE:
hen resetting the uel lter in the tank, return it to the position as shown in the
gure.
or replacement, contact your authori ed ser ice center.
Cleaning the joint pipe cleaner element
1. emo e the hose band 1 and the hose 2 .
2. ull out the element 3 and remo e any dirt orm it with a brush.
it is di cult to pull out the element, use a slender stick to catch it out.
3. eplace the element with a new one i it is damaged or ery dirty.
4. ress the element into the joint pipe 4 until the element tail is ush with its port
end.
5. nstall the hose and secure it with a hose band.
Replacement of solution hose
Check the solution hose 1 re uently.
chemical solution. eplace the hose i necessary as ollows.
1. emo e the no le 2 rom the pipe 3 .
2. oosen the hose band, and then replace the old hose with new one.
Inspection of bolts, nuts and screws
etighten loose bolts, nuts, etc.
Check or uel and oil leakage.
eplace damaged parts with new ones or sa ety operation.
Replacement of gaskets and packings
n reassembling a ter the engine is dismounted, be sure to replace the gaskets and
packings with new ones.
