Question/problem - cause
Cause
The combustion engine does not start:
• There is no fuel in the tank;
The fuel line is clogged;
• The fuel lever is set to OFF position;
• The fuel in the tank is of poor quality, has water, is
dirty or is already old;
• The cap has been removed from the spark plug;
The spark plug wire is not connected;
• The spark plug has soot or is damaged; Wrong gap
between the electrodes;
• The engine switch is not in the "ON" position;
• There isn't enough compression. Little force is
needed to pull the recoil starter.
• The air filter is dirty;
• The combustion engine is "wet" due to many
attempts for starting it;
• Very low engine oil level;
The appliance is too tilted;
• The choke lever is not set to CLOSE position;
Start-up difficulties or reduced combustion engine
power:
• There is water in the fuel tank and carburetor;
• The fuel tank is dirty;
• The air filter is dirty;
• The spark plug has soot;
The engine runs irregularly:
• The air filter is dirty;
The combustion engine overheats:
• Cooling fins are dirty;
• Engine oil level too low;
The high-pressure washer is smoking:
• The air filter is dirty;
Strong vibrations while operating:
• Loose engine housing;
There is no water coming out of the nozzle:
• The water supply is turned off;
• The pump is sucking air;
• The lance or nozzle are clogged;
Irregular pressure:
• The pump is sucking air;
• Unsuitable or worn-out nozzle;
Solution
• Fill the tank with fuel;
Clean the fuel line;
• Set the fuel lever to OPEN position;
• Use new fuel;
• Attach the cap to the spark plug;
Connect it;
• Clean/replace the spark plug;
Adjust the gap between the electrodes;
• Set the ON/OFF switch to "ON" position;
• Check that the spark plug is tight. If not, tighten it;
• Clean/replace the air filter;
• Unscrew the spark plug and dry it, pull the recoil starter
several times, with the spark plug unscrewed;
• Fill oil to the appropriate level;
Place the appliance on flat floor;
• Set the choke lever to CLOSE position;
• Empty the fuel tank;
• Clean the fuel tank;
• Clean/replace the air filter;
• Clean/replace the spark plug;
• Clean/replace the air filter;
• Clean the cooling fins;
• Top up your engine oil level;
• Clean/replace the air filter;
• Tighten the engine fixing screw;
• Turn the water supply on;
• Check suction components;
• Clean the nozzle/lance;
• Check if there is air coming into the pump or suction
pipes;
• Replace the nozzle;
