INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
ON 3/4" COPPER PIPE WITH THE
OMNI QUICK KIT:
The Omni Quick Connection Kit can be used
with the following Omni products: OB1, Pro-
900, R12, R14 and OB5 filters.
There are many ways to install your water
filter into a water line. This is a typical main
water line installation.
1. Open the package and locate all the parts as
shown in Figure 1.

2. Turn off the main water supply valve and
open a faucet to drain the system.
3. Unscrew and separate the head from the sump
portion of the filter housing. See Figure 2. Set
the sump aside.

4. Remove the brass compression nut and fer-
rule from each of the adapters and set them
aside.

5. Wrap 6"of Teflon tape on the "course"
thread of each adapter. Apply the tape in a
clockwise direction.
6. Thread the male adapters into the inlet and
outlet ports of the filter head. Start the
adapters by hand to avoid cross threading
them and then finish tightening the adapters
with a 1-1/4 wrench until they are snug. DO
NOT OVERTIGHTEN. See Figure 3.

7. Measure the distance from the outside collar

8. Cut the pipe with a pipe cutter or hacksaw.
Sand or file the ends of the cut copper pipe
with sand paper or steel wool. Clean the ends
of the cut pipe.
NOTICE: Do not cut the pipe on an angle.
