Do not expose the power tool to rain or operate it in wet or
damp conditions. The presence of water in a power tool
increases the risk of damage and electric shock to the user.
Hold the power tool by insulated surfaces only, which
prevent electric shock if the power tool comes into contact
with concealed wiring or the power cord during operation.
Never use the power cord to pull, carry or unplug the power
tool. Damaged power cords increase the risk of electric
shock.
Keep the power cord and plug away from heat sources, oil,
sharp objects and rotating attachments. Check the
condition of the power cord regularly, if it is damaged, it
must be replaced or repaired by a qualified technician.
Never change the power cord plug and use a socket which
is compatible with the plug. Do not use any kind of socket
adaptor.
The use of extension cords to plug in the power cord is not
recommended. However, if you use an extension cord, you
should take some precautions, such as:
▪ If you operate the power tool outdoors, use only
extension cords suitable for outdoor use. The use of a
suitable extension cord reduces the risk of electric
shock;
▪ Use only extension cords, plugs and sockets with earth
terminal;
▪ The cross-section of the extension cord's wires shall be
proportional to the length and with the same
characteristics
as
screwdriver's power cord;
▪ Do not use damaged extension cords. Examine the
extension cords before using them and replace if
necessary;
▪ Always unplug the extension cord before removing the
plug from the power tool;
▪ When using an extension cord reel, unroll the cord
completely.
