Safe device use
a)
Make sure the blade is locked before sharpening, replacing the blade, cleaning
or storing the device. It minimizes the risk of accidental cuts.
b)
When not in use, store in a safe place, away from children and people not
familiar with the device who have not read the user manual. The device may
pose a hazard in the hands of inexperienced users.
c)
Keep the device in perfect technical condition.
d)
Keep the device out of the reach of children.
e)
To ensure the operational integrity of the device, do not remove factory-fitted
guards and do not loosen any screws.
f)
Clean the device regularly to prevent stubborn grime from accumulating. After
some time of operation, there might some amount of shavings or dust to wipe
up.
g)
Do not work on two workpieces at the same time.
h)
The device is not a toy. Cleaning and maintenance may not be carried out by
children without supervision by an adult person.
i)
It is forbidden to interfere with the structure of the device in order to change
its parameters or construction.
j)
Keep the device away from sources of fire and heat.
k)
Do not use any force on the device.
l)
The handle cannot be used to lift the device.
m) A workpiece should be clean and set in a stable horizontal position
perpendicularly to the blade.
n)
When holding a workpiece, the hand should be in the distance of at least 20
cm from the blade.
o)
Do not use the device with workpieces which are thicker than recommended
ones. If there is a resistance during operation, check the sharpness of the
blade. If the blade is sharp enough, the resistance means that the workpiece is
too thick.
p)
Regularly check the sharpness of the blade. A blunt blade significantly reduces
work effectiveness.
q)
Do not leave the device unattended and accessible to children or bystanders.
After work is finished, store the device with a locked blade.
ATTENTION!
Despite the safe design of the device and its protective
features, and despite the use of additional elements
protecting the operator, there is still a slight risk of accident
or injury when using the device. Stay alert and use common
sense when using the device.
