Cleaning and care.
∙ This appliance may be
used by children (at least
8 years of age) and by
persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lacking
experience and knowledge,
provided they have been
given supervision or
instruction concerning the
use of the appliance and
fully understand all dangers
and safety precautions
involved.
∙ Children must not be
permitted to play with the
appliance.
∙ Children must not be
permitted to carry out any
cleaning or maintenance
work on the appliance
unless they are supervised.
∙ Children below 8 years of
age must be kept well away
from the appliance.
∙ This appliance is intended for domestic
or similar applications, such as the
- staff kitchens in shops, offices and
other similar working environments,
- agricultural working environments,
- by customers in hotels, motels etc.
and similar accommodation,
- in bed-and breakfast type
environments.
∙ Do not attempt to charge or by any other
means reactivate batteries; never take
batteries apart, burn or short-circuit
them.
∙ Caution: The shaving blades are
extremely sharp. To prevent injury, take
special care when removing the head.
∙ After removing the lint chamber, do not
put your fingers into the aperture now
opened up.
∙ Structured fabrics or very soft material,
such as mohair, may be damaged by
using the shaver. We therefore suggest
that you test the result first on a non-
visible part of the fabric, e.g. inside a
seam.
∙ Caution: Do not use the appliance as a
hair shaver on the body or face; there is
a risk of injury.
∙ Always remove the batteries from the
appliance once they are exhausted,
and also during extended periods of
non-use. This will prevent damage to the
appliance from leakage.
∙ Both batteries should be replaced at
the same time. Do not use batteries of
different types or brands, or those of
different capacities.
∙ Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
∙ Do not, under any circumstances,
