Unscrew the fuel valve by moving the fuel valve lever to the open

position - "ON" (see dispenser pictogram in the above picture).
(only if the engine is cold or stalls immediately after starting): Turn

on the suction, i.e., move the suction valve to the "ON" position
(see suction pictogram in the above image).

Adjust the throttle lever position - as required.
(MSW-GE70 only): Move the ignition switch to the "ON" position.

(MSW-GE70 only): Set the ignition switch to the "ON" position.

(MSW-GE70 only/optional MSW-GE70E): Grasp the starter handle
•
and slowly pull in the direction away from the unit until resistance
is felt, then pull in a firm motion, keeping the tug handle in your
hand at all times even when it returns to the starting position
regardless of whether the engine starts or not. Repeat this motion
until the engine starts.
(MSW-GE70E only): turn the ignition key to the "START" position
and hold it in this position until the engine starts. After it starts,
immediately release the key and allow it to return automatically
to the "ON" position.
IMPORTANT: If the engine does not start for 5 seconds after
turning the starter, release the ignition key (it will return
automatically to the "ON" position in the ignition), wait 10
seconds and try to start it again.
ATTENTION: in case of engine failure in order to protect the
starter, the unit is equipped with an installation fuse which will
disconnect the starter if the engine is not able to start etc.
