7. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The bath lift is composed by a unit base with sturdy collapsible frame enables the chair to be
raised and lowered from 6.5 to 42 cm. The actuator is located on the back of the backrest. As
the actuator stretching and retracting, the bath lift can be lifted up, lowered down or adjusted
the slope of the backrest. The movements of this actuator are controlled by the handled
controller attached with the backrest. The battery pack which has Ni-MH batteries inside, offer

the power needed to drive the actuator. Due to its integrated power control, the bath lift only
lowers if there is still sufficient power available to raise it.
