10.2 Correct seating
WARNING!
• Before using the bath lift consider means of requesting help if needed
• Seek advice from a qualified person such as an occupational therapist
1.
Lift the bath lift untill the seat reaches the bath edges
2. Facing outwards, sit on the bath lift side panel and then move to the seat area
3. Slowly lift your legs separately over into the bathtub, ease yourself into
the central area of the seat
4. Face forwards and have your legs and feet extended. Always keep your hands away
from the seat, folding side panels and mechanism, when the bath lift is operating.
5. Lower the bath lift in order to allow the partial immersion
6. To get out the bathtub follow the procedure inverse
in case of purchasing of swivel base (RP901), fit it on the seat with slide flipper outward

10.3 Use the handled controller
1.
Make sure that the fully batteries are correctly installed
2. Press the DOWN button to lower and the UP button to raise the bath lift. If you wish
to recline the backrest further, when the seat has reached its lower position continue
to press the down button. Once the desired angle is reached, release the button.
3. To raise the backrest, press UP button. Continue pressing the UP button to raise
the seat to its original position- level with the bathtub edges

Note:
The handled controller can be fitted to a smooth surface by using the suction pads under-
neath. To release, just pull the edge rim or side strap of the suction pads. The handled controller
has a built in safety feature. If the battery do not has sufficient power to lower and then raise
the bath lift, the unit will not descend. A red warning light will blink on the handled controller to
indicate low battery power, wen the user press down or up button.
