Figure 17 shows the current transformer in the start and control unit. The
location can vary depending on the size of the start and control unit. Phase L1
runs through the transformer.
Figure 18 shows the TVS 76 valve located on the start-up valve at the fan inlet.
The motor and gear box assembly can run in both directions in order to open or
close the valve.
The relay box, Figure 19, is normally located on the inlet side of the vacuum
unit.

Before installation
6.1
Delivery check
Check the VAC 12/20 unit for any transport damages. In case of damage
or parts missing, notify the carrier and your local Nederman representative
immediately. It is recommended to transport the VAC 12/20 unit to the
installation site while still in the factory packing.
6.2
Installation requirements
6.2.1
Location
Prepare the location where VAC 12/20 is to be placed before installation. An
open working space round the unit is necessary for maintenance. A gap of at
least 0.7 meter in front of the unit is required to allow for opening of the unit.
6.2.2
Foundation
The unit must be anchored to a hard, level and firm foundation, such as a
concrete foundation.
Consider the total weight of the unit with accessories, see
'Table 4-1: Technical data', when calculating the foundation or supporting
structure.
