INTRODUCTION:
Dear customer, thank you for choosing a product from Thermis, a company with 30 years of experience in

below may result in electric shock, fire or serious injury.
TRG series heaters are designed to directly heat various media. Depending on the medium, it is necessary to
choose a heater with a suitable material make-up (threaded flange, heating rods), or a surface treatment that
suits the specific solution, see Table 2, or consult with the manufacturer. The TRG series heaters are equipped
with mechanical or electronic thermostats in single-phase or three-phase versions, see Table 1, and the
corresponding thermal fuse, see Table 1. Suitable ranges must always be chosen to suit the requirements of
the specific application, in case of any uncertainties, do not hesitate to contact the manufacturer for advice.
- Only a person qualified and familiar with the local ordinances and regulations may install and connect the
heater to the electrical circuit. Install with the voltage off!
- The heater must be connected to a circuit or socket with an appropriate safety device. See Table 4 for a table
of recommended circuit breaker values for individual power versions.
- If there is any damage to the input wire or any other part of the heater, disconnect the heater from the
electrical supply and have it professionally inspected or repaired by the manufacturer. Never touch damaged
parts when the equipment is energized ( it must not be running ).
- The heater must be fully submerged at all times during operation.
- For the standard version with a 50 mm non-heating part the maximum permitted lug length is 55 mm, for
the extended 100 mm non-heating part the maximum permitted lug length is 105 mm.
- When installed in a closed circuit, this circuit must be fitted with a pressure relief valve.
- Installation, initialstart-up and commissioning must be carried out under the supervision of a
professionally qualified person.
- It is strictly forbidden to modify or tamper with the device in any way whatsoever.
- All work with and use of the heater must be carried out with the utmost attention to upholding the
mandatory and recommended safety regulations and to following the instructions for installation,
commissioning and use.
- This manual describes the parameters and procedures for the standard version. Any individual
