Risk of electric shock! Do not use any high pressure cleaners or

Danger of burns! The hotplates and surrounding area become

very hot. Never touch the hot surfaces. When a cooking zone has
been in use, the surface remains hot for some time afterwards. Be
careful not to touch the hot surface and not to place any objects
on it.
After use, switch off the hob element by its control.

Metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons and lids should not

be placed on the hob surface since they can get hot.
Never use water to put out burning oil or fat. Switch off the

hotplate. Extinguish fl ames carefully using a fi re blanket.
