Operation
The Air Guard can only be reset by purging the system (see
chapter 4.4.8).
Open the alarm overview on the Air Guard touchscreen to see
which alarm was exceeded (see chapter 4.4.4). The
corresponding measured values flash yellow (warning) or red
(alarm or malfunction).
If the flow rate is too low, the symbol for the differential
pressure sensor turns red (see chapter 4.4.4). If the flow rate
is sufficient once again, the symbol changes and the Air Guard
can be reset by purging.
PID 5000 lamp test
During the lamp test, the "CHECK" message appears on the
PID 5000 display. The functionality of the UV lamp is checked.
This process takes approx. 100 seconds and is triggered after
restarting the Air Guard, after the "FLOW ERROR" error and
cyclically every 7 days (operating time of the lamp since the
last lamp test). It is not possible to carry out a measurement
during this time (see chapter 4.3.3). No operation is required
during this lamp test. After the lamp test has been completed,
the PID 5000 automatically switches to measuring mode. The
lamp test is stored in the messages for follow-up purposes
(see chapter 4.4.7).
