2. Operating safety
CAUTION! Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the
warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury or
death.
The term "machine" or "product" in the warnings and instructions refers to the
<AUTOMATIC BILGE PUMP>.
2.1. Electrical safety
a) Do not use the power cord in any unintended way. Never use it to handle the
machine. Keep the power cord away from sources of heat, oil, sharp edges or
moving parts. Damaged or tangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
b) Do not use the machine if the power cord is damaged or shows evidence of
wear. Have a damaged power cord replaced by a qualified electrician or the
manufacturer's technical service.
c) Make sure that the machine is supplied with 12 V DC. Higher voltage will
damage the pump.
