when the selection next to a given icon starts blinking, press the
option selection button (MENU) to eliminate the selection and
vice versa - to add it back when it was eliminated from the search
range, i.e. the check mark next to a given icon will be highlighted
again.
The categories eligible for this function are aluminum foil, 5-cent
coins, aluminum, zinc. Each of these four categories can be
disabled or enabled individually.
"VOLUME" - Setting the sound level of the loudspeaker or
headphones in the range 1-10. Change the value with the
increase/decrease button (+ or -). The volume also depends on the
type of detected object (see the general object detection table).
"SENS" - Setting the sensitivity of the probe in the range 1-10. The
higher the value, the greater the sensitivity and vice versa.
Adjustment similar to the volume setting. If the detection is too
sensitive or the probe detects non-existent metal objects, the
sensitivity should be reduced.
NOTE: Cell phones, cell phone towers, etc. send signals that mya
be disturbing, so the device may incorrectly indicate a finding. In
such cases, the sensitivity level of the probe should be reduced.
• Button for pinpointing the position of the tracked object (PIN
POINT)
When the probe detects an object, press and hold the button to
fine-tune the location of the find - the message "PP" will appear
on the display. The sound of the signal will increase or decrease
depending on the distance from the measured object, i.e. the
closer it is, the more intense it will be, and vice versa.
NOTE: this function works regardless of the generally set probe
sensitivity level.

OVERLOAD WARNING
If a metal object or highly magnetic soil is too close to the probe, the
unit will overload and the display will show "-" and you will hear a
quick, repeated tone of medium volume. This fact will not adversely
affect the device. However, you should raise the probe to detect from
a greater distance or change the place of your searches.
