Removing and inserting the dust container

Removing: Press the dust container
release button (1) and pull the dust
container (5) off the motor unit (4).
•
Inserting: Place the locking lugs on the
dust container into the appropriate
notches in the motor unit. Then press the
dust container into the motor unit until it
is heard to click into place.
Use
Caution!
•
The openings on the device must not be
blocked to ensure that the motor does not overheat or suff er damage.
•
Never hold the nozzles close to parts of your body or animals during use and do not place
your hands inside the nozzles. They could become stuck to the device/injured. Should the
vacuum cleaner become stuck, switch the device off immediately.
•
Only switch on the vacuum cleaner once you have made sure that all parts are completely
� tted and the dust container and the � lters are inserted correctly (see the "Attaching and
Detaching Accessories" chapter and "Cleaning and Storing the Device" chapter, "Cleaning
the Filter" section). Never start using the vacuum cleaner without a � lter!

Always switch the device off � rst and pull the mains plug out of the plug socket before
you attach or remove any accessories!
•
On no account should the device be used to suck up the following:
– Liquids or wet substances (e.g. wet carpet shampoo)
– Glowing ash, cigarette ends, matches, etc.
– In� ammable or explosive substances
– Very � ne dust (e.g. concrete dust), ash or toner
– Pointed, hard objects such as large pieces of broken glass
