GENERAL INFORMATION
This cool box uses thermoelectric technology and is therefore able to provide cooling as well as
heating. It can cool down to a maximum of 18°C below the ambient temperature and warm up to a
maximum temperature of 50°C. For optimal cooling, the cool box should be filled with pre-chilled
food and/or drinks. The keep-warm function is not intended to heat cold food, but to keep hot food
warm. Warming up cold food and drinks takes a considerable amount of time!
BEFORE FIRST USE
Open the lid, remove any remaining packaging materials and clean the interior with a soft wet cloth.
OPERATION
Operation mode selector switch
OFF
: The appliance is switched off. The LED indicator light is off.
COLD : The cooling function is switched on. The LED indicator lights up blue.
HOT
: The keep warm function is switched on. The LED indicator lights up red.
Power mode selector switch
OFF
: The appliance is switched off.
MAX : The appliance is operating at maximum power.
ECO
: The appliance is operating in power-saving mode. Recommended if the cool box is only
partially filled.
Note: ECO mode only affects mains operation. (220-240 V)
1. Open the cable compartment and choose the appropriate cable for the desired operating mode.
2. Ensure that both switches are set to OFF before connecting the cable to the power source.
3. Connect the 12 V plug to a 12 V cigarette lighter socket, or insert the mains plug into a suitable
wall outlet.
If you have a USB variant and want to use the cool box mobile, you can connect the USB cable to a
power bank instead. However, note that USB operation has a lower cooling/heating capacity.
4. Set the operation mode selector switch to COLD or HOT.
5. Set the power mode selector switch to the desired power mode ECO or MAX.
6. The appropriate indicator light will come on.
7. When the cool box is not being used, switch it off and disconnect it from its power source.
Note: Do not switch between COLD/HOT abruptly. Turn off the device first, wait about 30 minutes
and then switch to the other function.
Environment friendly disposal
You can help protect the environment! Please remember to respect the local regulations: hand
in the non-working electrical equipment to an appropriate waste disposal center.
