Contraindications
Do not use the
• Pregnant women
• People with diabetes.
• Dark skins, tanned skins (of phototype V and VI, or even IV).
• Skin that has been highly exposed to sunlight or UV machine during the 28
days that precedes treatment (see Chapter 3).
• Tattoo or permanent makeup on the area being treated.
• Wounded, burned, or infected skin.
• Skin lesions with unusual appearance (medical opinion should be sought).
• Moles (if they are located on the area to be treated, they must first be hidden),
brown or black lesions, pregnancy marks, freckles, birthmarks and pigmented
nevus.
• Eczema, psoriasis, lesions, open wounds or active infections on the area to
be treated. Wait until the affected area is healed before using the
device.
• Treatment for photosensitivity (medical advice should be sought).
• When there is a history of skin disease.
• Abnormal skin caused by diabetes, for example, or by other systemic or
metabolic diseases.
• All other cases that your doctor may consider risky for treatment.
• Do not use the hair removal device
