14. Avoid smashing or kinking the power cord or having contact to hot
surfaces or liquids and abrasion on sharp edges.
15. Do not allow the power cord to dangle and place the device in a
way that no one can fall over the cord.
16. Risk of burns!
Using the device results in high temperatures. Hot vapour may
escape when opening the lid. Even after use, there is residual heat.
If necessary, use oven gloves or pot holders.
17. Do not pull on the cable in order to move the appliance, but lift it
and then set it down on the desired place. Do not carry or move the
appliance as long as it is in operation and as long as it is hot. Pull the
plug from the socket and allow the appliance to cool down completely.
18. After use, clean all parts which have come into contact with food as
described under chapter "Cleaning and care".
19. Pull out the power plug after each use and in case of:
- The appliance not being under your direct supervision
- Malfunctions during operation
- Cleaning
Do not pull on the power cord, but on the plug itself!
20. Never submerge the device, the pizza stone, the cord or the plug in
water or other liquids. Do not clean in the dishwasher.
21. Never use the device if you discover damage, if water has entered
the housing, or if the device has fallen.
22. Check the power cord before every use for damage. If the power
cord is damaged, it must immediately be replaced. This may only
be arranged by the manufacturer, his customer service or a similarly
qualified and authorized specialist.
23. Never attempt to open or repair the appliance yourself. In the event
of a malfunction, have the appliance repaired by qualified experts
only! Contact your authorized dealer whenever the appliance is in
need of repairs.
24. Use original accessories only.
Before the first use
· Start by carefully reading the instructions for use and the safety
instructions.
· First, remove all packaging materials.
· Wipe the housing with a soft cloth, slightly damp, if necessary. Afterwards
dry off thoroughly.
· Clean the stone with a dry brush. As an alternative, you can wipe it
with a slightly moistened cloth and thoroughly dry it afterwards.
· Place the pizza stone flush in the lower part of the device.
· Heat the empty device, with the lid open, for approx. 10 minutes at
the highest temperature setting. The slight smoke and odour that will
probably be produced is completely harmless. This is protective oil,
which was applied during production. Ensure good ventilation of the
room during this period!
