• TO AVOID FIRE, SHOCK, OR DEATH: TURN OFF POWER at
circuit breaker or fuse and test that power is off before wiring!
• If you are unsure about any part of these instructions, consult
an electrician.
Before installing:

a. Determine placement of box.
Mount on a flat, smooth surface
using the holes on flanges of box.
The recommended screw size is #8
(any larger may damage product).

alternating sides. CAUTION: DO NOT
drill holes in box as watertight ratings
will be compromised.
b. Plug any unused conduit openings
with enclosed conduit plugs using
appropriate PVC glue (not supplied).
c. Determine conduit size to be
used. Box is supplied with
pre-formed 1" openings. To use 3/4"
reducers, separate as needed from

required, it must be inserted into the
3/4" reducer with PVC glue.
d. Secure conduit(s) to box with PVC glue.
e. Pull wires from conduit into box. NOTE: The wires must be long enough to project out of the
intended box opening(s) at least 6 in. Trim wires as required. Wire flanged inlet per STRIP

10-14 in-lbs. CAUTION: DO NOT tin conductors. Connect ground lead from cord jacket ground
wire to flanged device. Connect FD-Box ground lead to flanged device.
f. Box is now ready for device and cover installation.
