Intended Use
∙ The appliance is intended exclusively
for chopping the specified foods and
whipping cream or beating egg whites.
∙ Use the appliance only with the
accessories provided.
∙ Any other use not mentioned in the
instructions is considered improper use
and could result in serious injury or
damage to the appliance.
Before using for the first time
∙ Remove all remaining packaging
material and any promotional stickers
from the appliance. The nameplate must
not be removed.
∙ Clean the appliance as described in the
Cleaning and Care section.
Short operation
Do not switch on the unit for more than 30
seconds. Afterwards, a cooling pause of at
least 3 minutes must be observed.
Safety switch
The appliance is equipped with a safety
switch and can only operate when the
working container lid and the motor unit are
fitted to the working container.

Switch Settings
∙ The following settings can be selected:
I The appliance is switched on at low
speed.
e.g. for chopping meat and ice cubes,
or for mixing
II The appliance is switched on at high
speed.
e.g. for chopping onions, nuts, herbs; for
whipping cream; for beating egg whites
∙ The buttons must always be pressed in
the centre of the I or II symbols.
