When installing the pump, make sure that it is never
suspended freely on the water outlet hose or the
power cord. The pump must be suspended by a rope
attached to the handle (5) intended for this purpose or
placed on the bottom of the well, pool or garden pond.
When installing the pump so that it operates in
automatic mode, the location where the pump will be
installed must be at least 50 x 50 x 50 cm in length, width
and height respectively, to allow the float switch to move
freely.
When submerging the pump, you should tilt it slightly to
ensure that the water gets into the impeller chamber. This
reduces the possibility of drawing air when starting the
pump. If necessary, tilt the pump backwards and forwards
several times until no more air bubbles appear.
Make sure the pump is in a stable position so that the
suction base is not completely or partially blocked. It
should always be free of mud or any other dirt.
If the water level is too low, mud can harden quickly and
stop the pump from starting. To ensure trouble-free
operation, place the pump, for example, on top of a
concrete block.
To submerge, lift or secure the pump, use a rope, attached
to the carrying handle (5).
1. Screw the water outlet hose adaptor into the water outlet
point (4);
2. Connect the hose to the adaptor.
The adaptor allows you to connect hoses with diameter of
25,4 mm (1").
The hoses are attached to the adaptor through the ridges,
according to their diameters. However, we recommended
that 25,4 mm (1") hoses are attached with an additional
clamp.
Submersible pumps are designed for personal use, in your
house or garden. Pumps are used to drain flood water,
transfer liquids, drain containers, draw water from wells
and mines or drain boats and yachts for a limited period of
time.
These pumps are fully submersible. They can be
submerged to the depth specified in the technical data.
Once you have read the installation and assembly
instructions, you can start your new pump. Do so by
following these instructions carefully:
▪ Check that the pump is safely resting/suspended at the
suction point;
▪ Ensure that the water outlet hose is properly connected;
▪ Make sure the mains voltage is 230 V / 50 Hz;
▪ Ensure that the socket is not damaged in any way;
▪ Ensure that no moisture or water can reach electrical
connections;
▪ Avoid running the pump dry.
1. The pump's switch point (on/off) may be adjusted by
changing the position of the float switch cable (2) in the
cable clip (3).
Before starting the water pump:
▪ The float switch (1) must be adjusted to allow it to rise
and fall freely according to fluctuations in the water
level;
▪ The distance between the float switch and where the
cable is attached (3) should not be too short. If the float
switch and cable are positioned too close together, the
pump may not work properly;
▪ When adjusting, be aware that the float switch must not
touch the bottom before the pump turns off. If this
happens, the pump runs the risk of running dry.
