Instructions for Operating in Manual mode
1. Once the submerged pump in placed in the location
where it will create suction, you can connect the power
cable (5);
2. Keep raising the float switch (1) until the pump starts;
3. To stop the pump, lower the float;
Instructions for Operating in Automatic mode
1. Once the submerged pump in placed in the location
where it will create suction, you can connect the power
cable (5);
2. The pump will start when the float (1) reaches the
maximum level set for the pump to start automatically;
3. The pump shuts off when the float reaches the
minimum level set for the pump to stop;
MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Cleaning
This submersible pump does not require any
maintenance, however, if the pump is installed
permanently, it should be checked regularly to ensure
that it is kept in perfect working order and has a long
lifespan.
Every 3 months:
▪ Check that the float switch is operational;
▪ Clean the pump and float switch (1) using running
water;
▪ Clean the location where the pump applies suction,
remove any mud that has accumulated at the bottom
and clean the walls if necessary;
When using the pump as a portable pump, clean it with
running water after each use;
Before cleaning your pump, ensure it is
unplugged.
In the event a turbine gets blocked due to the
accumulation of debris, wires or fibers, remove the
suction base and clean the inside of the pump.
1. Loosen the screws that hold it in place, and remove
the suction base (8);
2. Loosen the screws that hold it in place, and remove
the suction base;
3. Clean the turbine and turbine chamber with running
water;
4. Replace the suction base and the lid. Tighten the
screws that hold it in place;
For your own safety, if either the turbine or electrical
parts of the pump (power cord or plug and switch) need
to be repaired, these operations should only be
performed by qualified technicians.
