It is in the interests of the user to follow these instructions carefully, as when work recommences, he will fi nd the equipment in perfect
condition.

USE AND MAINTENANCE
- Grease all parts indicated by transfer 'GRASE' of this leafl et.
- Lubricate all the transmission chains with mineral oil (SAE 80W/90).
- After the fi rst hours of work check that all the bolts are still tight.
- Carefully check the general condition of the machine after the fi rst 8 hours service.
In particular, after having checked the tines for wear, it is advisable to check that all screws and
bolts are correctly torqued.
- Grease the cardan shaft cross journals.
- Grease the side adjuster jacks of the rear bar (1 fi g.69).
- Grease the side supports of the rollers.
- Check the state of wear and the integrity of the tractor connecting elements and of the structural
elements. The machine cannot be used if anomalies are noted. Contact your dealer immediately

CHANGE THE OIL IN THE CENTRAL AND SIDE HOUSINGS AFTER THE FIRST 50 HOURS
SERVICE.
- Make sure that the machine is standing on a perfectly fl at surface.
- To check the oil level in the central housing of the fi nal drive, unscrew the lower plug (2 fi g.69)
and make sure that the level reaches the lower edge of the plug hole. Top up if necessary.
- To check the level in the side housings, remove the dipstick (3 fi g.69) and make sure that the oil
reaches the level mark. Top up if necessary.
- To check the oil level in the gear reservoir, unscrew the fi ll plug (4 fi g.69) and use the supplied
dipstick to make sure that the level is between the two reference marks.
Top up if necessary.
- Completely change the oil in the reduction unit by draining the old oil through the drain plug (2
fi g.69) and pouring fresh oil through the fi ll/level plug. (5 fi g.69)
- Completely change the oil in the gear reservoir by draining the old oil through the plug (see fi g.2)
and pouring fresh oil through the fi ll/level plug (4 fi g.69).
- At this time, it is also advisable to demount and clean the clutch disks (if a cardan shaft with clutch
is used).
- Replace all the tubes of the hydraulic systems.
At the end of the season, or if a long period of rest is foreseen it is advisable to:
1) Wash the equipment thoroughly with water, especially the chemical substance hoppers, then dry
them. Clean the electrical components only with a dry cloth.
2) Carefully check for worn or damaged parts and replace then where required.
3) Check the state of wear of the transmission chains and toothed wheels. Replace damaged or
worn out parts, if required. Use solvent to clean the transmission chains, the toothed wheels and
the chain stretchers. Lubricate with mineral oil (SAE 80W/90) when dry.
4) Firmly tighten all screws and bolts.
5) Apply protecting oil to all unpainted parts.
6) Protect the equipment with a (nylon) cover.
7) Then position it stably in a dry place out of the reach of unauthorized people.
