• Carefully remove all plastic packaging.
• Keep the unit out of the reach of children.
• Supervise children to make sure they do not play
with the unit or its packaging.
• This unit can be used by children aged 8 years
old and above, persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities and persons with no
particular experience or knowledge, provided they
are properly supervised or have been instructed
on the safe use of the unit and understand the
risks involved. Do not let children play with the
unit. Cleaning and maintenance of the unit must
not be performed by unsupervised children.
• Do not use the unit in temperatures above 45°C
or below 0°C.
• Do not place the unit in sunlight, near a gas-
powered appliance, or near a heat source (heating,
fireplace, etc.).
• Do not use Hygeolis in greasy environments,
such as a kitchen.
• To install in a damp environment, comply with
the norms applicable to an IP23 protection index.
• Place the unit in a stable position on a flat
surface or use the wall bracket provided to mount
it on the wall. Failure to do so may prevent the unit
from working properly or cause damage.
• Place the unit on a dry surface, avoid flammable
surfaces or nylon, radiators, or other heat sources.
• The unit operates at 220-240 V (Hygeolis-230)
or 12 V (Hygeolis-12).
• To prevent fire and electric shocks, do not plug
the unit into a different voltage supply.
• To avoid the risk of electric shocks, do not allow
the power cord to come in contact with damp or
wet surfaces.
• Do not twist or pull the power cord in an
excessive manner, or place below heavy objects.
• Never use the unit if the plug, power cord or the
unit itself are damaged.
11 - Hygeolis
Safety instructions
• If the power cord has been damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service centre,
or an appropriately qualified person in order to
prevent danger.
• Do not insert metal objects into the unit.
• Do not insert anything into the air inlet or outlet.
• Make sure that the air inlet and outlet are not
blocked or covered.
• The air outlets must be at least 30 cm from large
surfaces (walls, boxes, furniture, etc.).
• The unit must not be opened. Only the cover can
be opened to replace the filters or to access the
controls above the filter.
• Only use filters certified by NatéoSanté and
specifically designed for this unit.
• Inspect and clean the equipment regularly
according to the instructions herein.
• Switch off and unplug the unit before cleaning.
• Clean with a soft cloth.
• Do not use the unit in places where flammable
products or explosives have been stored.
• Do not use the unit if there are inflammable gases
in the air (alcohol, fly spray, etc.). Turn the unit back
on after having aired the room sufficiently.
• Do not try to repair or modify any mechanical
parts.
• If you notice unusual noises or suspicious signs,
unplug the power cable immediately and contact
your dealer.
• Unplug the unit when it is not in use.
• Do not use the unit near a fire alarm. If the outlet
air is blowing towards a fire alarm, the alarm may
respond late, or not at all.
• This unit is only intended for indoor use in a
ventilated area. Do not use outdoors.
