6.6 MICROSCOPE SHIPMENT
The Ecleris Microstar OM-200 Microscope has been designed to be moved over short distances
within a doctor's office or room. If it necessary to move the microscope over larger distances,
special attention should be paid to the following cautions:
Place the arm in "Closed" position over the forearm. This is the most favorable position for
the stability of the microscope.
Set the brakes to avoid movements of the forearm-arm and Optical head.
Disconnect the power supply cable from the electrical network and tie it firmly to the
microscope´s column.
Loosen the wheels brakes.
Due to its weight, two people should transport the device.
Do not circulate over inclined surfaces with an angle larger than 10°, avoiding tipping over
the microscope.
6.7 MOUNTING THE MONITOR HOLDER
Place the monitor holder in the forearm. Follow the instructions for a correct mounting:
1. Unscrew the upper circular cap from the forearm using a plastic tool to avoid damaging the
paint.
2. Place the column support inside the hole. Turn the column at clockwise until the stop.
